Josh Hart's strong Summer League play continued on Tuesday when he hit 8-of-16 shots and four 3-pointers for 27 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over the Knicks.

So much for the original plan of him only playing in two games this summer, as he's now up to three and is averaging 23.3 points per game in Vegas, ranking second to only John Collins (24.0 in two games). Hart's Lakers are 3-0 and the No. 1 seed in Vegas and he single-handedly helped the Lakers hold off a late, furious run by the Knicks to seal the win. He also played great defense on rookie Kevin Knox, who did most of his damage (29 points) when Hart was on the bench and the Knicks were blazing back. Hart's had a great run this summer, but he's still going to have a tough time with guys like LeBron James, Lonzo Ball, Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson on the roster. Keep an eye on him in the preseason.

Mike Muscala is being listed in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cavs.

This is coming off the game notes, which aren't always reliable, but it looks like Muscala will be replacing Wilson Chandler in the starting five today. He could be someone to think about deploying as a punt play in DFS or a deep league streamer.
Dec 16 - 3:14 PM

Jimmy Butler (groin) is being listed in as a starter for Sunday's game against the Cavs.

It looks like Butler will be back in action following a two-game absence, which will translate to Furkan Korkmaz returning to the second unit. The other listed starters for Sunday's game are Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Mike Muscala and Joel Embiid.
Dec 16 - 3:14 PM

Pascal Siakam (back stiffness) will not play Sunday against the Nuggets.

Siakam took a hard fall during Friday's game and didn't return. Tests were negative following the game, so he's not dealing with anything serious. Hopefully this is a short-term absence for one of the NBA's biggest breakout stars. OG Anunoby, C.J. Miles, Serge Ibaka, and possibly Chris Boucher will pick up minutes in his absence.
Dec 16 - 3:04 PM

Fred VanVleet (back) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Nuggets.

FVV has been fighting through the pain with this back issue for the past few games, but it sounds like he'll be taking Sunday's game off in order to give him a full four days off prior to Wednesday's game against the Pacers. Kyle Lowry (thigh) has already been ruled out, so Delon Wright could be getting the start today, and he'd make sense as a DFS play.
Dec 16 - 3:04 PM

Kyle Lowry (left thigh contusion) will not play Sunday against the Nuggets.

Lowry will miss his second straight game on Sunday. The biggest development is that Fred VanVleet (back) is now doubtful to play, which opens up the starting point guard spot for Delon Wright, most likely. Wright is a high-quality stream and DFS play now. Lorenzo Brown will likely see minutes off the bench, too. Jordan Loyd isn't with the team, so it'll be just Wright and Brown carrying the point guard minutes on Sunday.
Dec 16 - 3:01 PM

Jimmy Butler (strained groin) looks to be in line to return to the lineup on Sunday in Cleveland.

Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer said he would be "shocked" if Butler didn't suit up on Sunday. Butler was getting his usual pregame massage, which prompted Pompey to formulate his opinion. Furkan Korkmaz would move back to the bench if Butler were to indeed return.
Dec 16 - 2:50 PM

JaVale McGee (flu-like symptoms) is probable for Sunday's game against the Wizards.

McGee was a game-time decision on Saturday, but gave it a go and had a monster game. Deploy him as usual on Sunday.
Dec 16 - 1:57 PM

Allen Crabbe (knee) will not play Sunday against the Hawks.

Crabbe will miss his second straight game. Rodions Kurucs figures to start again, like he did on Friday. DeMarre Carroll, Joe Harris, and Shabazz Napier will also pick up more minutes with Crabbe out. Hopefully he's back for the team's next game on Tuesday.
Dec 16 - 1:08 PM

Trey Burke (right MCL sprain) will return from a six-game absence on Sunday against the Pacers.

Frank Ntilikina and Lance Thomas are both available, too. Burke will return to action for the first time in two weeks. With Allonzo Trier (hamstring) and Damyean Dotson (shoulder) both out, Burke should step back into his usual role off the bench as the backup point guard. Who knows how much time that will grant him, though, with coach David Fizdale re-working his rotations quite often. It's best to wait and see before adding him off the wire.
Dec 16 - 11:35 AM

Damyean Dotson (sore right shoulder) will not play Sunday against the Pacers.

Dotson will miss his second straight game due to this shoulder ailment. Trey Burke (knee), Frank Ntilikina, and Courtney Lee will pick up more minutes in his absence.
Dec 16 - 11:29 AM

Devin Booker powered the Suns to a 107-99 win over the Timberwolves on Saturday, going 10-of-16 from the field and 5-of-6 from the stripe for 28 points over 36 minutes.

Booker added three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, seven assists and two turnovers while he was out there, and the hamstring was a complete non-issue. He was nearly perfect through the first half of action, netting 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting, and he also had a nice two-man game going with Richaun Holmes. Phoenix has now won back-to-back games for the first time this season, and they're finally fully healthy.
