Marco Belinelli has been officially waived by the Hawks.

Assuming he clears waivers, Belinelli will be a free agent and can sign with any team he wants. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said the Thunder, Spurs and 76ers tried to obtain him at the deadline and they do have a roster spot, so they are the likely landing spots for the sharpshooter. He wouldn't have much value on those teams, though. Tyler Dorsey gets a bump with this news.
Feb 9 - 5:56 PM

Paul Zipser (left foot pain) will not return on Thursday against the 76ers.

He doesn't have a history of foot injuries, but getting ruled out isn't a great sign. The Bulls were expected to give him more minutes going forward, but now that playing time could go to Denzel Valentine and David Nwaba.
Feb 22 - 9:36 PM

Justin Jackson, Zach Randolph, Willie Cauley-Stein, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Garrett Temple will start against the Thunder on Thursday.

The Kings won't be starting Frank Mason III in his return tonight and the minutes restriction could be why. Temple could find himself getting more consistent minutes, but the Kings do have a lot of options they can use 1-3. He's more of a spot-start player to use in deep leagues when you know he'll be out there.
Feb 22 - 9:30 PM

Milos Teodosic will start vs. the Warriors on Thursday.

Avery Bradley (athletic pubalgia) is unavailable, so Teodosic will start alongside Austin Rivers in the backcourt. Anyone holding onto him might as well get him in their active lineups, and we're expecting Steph Curry to have a field day offensively.
Feb 22 - 9:18 PM

Dante Cunningham went off in the second unit with a season-high 22 points, adding 12 rebounds, four assists, one block and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Hornets on Thursday.

That scoring output doubled his previous best this season and it was his first double-double of the year, too. Cunningham is best known in fantasy for taking minutes away from younger prospects and it's certainly possible he'll do that in Brooklyn. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has a good chance to play on Monday, so that would likely affect Cunningham's playing time more than anyone else. If you wanted to add him in a deep league, hopefully you're not dropping anything another owner may want.
Feb 22 - 9:17 PM

Josh Huestis will start on Thursday vs. Sacramento.

The Thunder go with a lengthly lineup here, but this could have a little to do with Alex Abrines' hip injury from last week. Huestis likely won't be getting many shots and he's probably looking at around 20-24 minutes, so he's not going to have much fantasy value. There's a chance this lineup could stick, though.
Feb 22 - 8:45 PM

Kosta Koufos (illness) will not play Thursday against the Thunder.

There was a decent chance he was going to be a DNP-CD anyway because of Skal Labissiere expected to be back. Koufos and Zach Randolph will likely sit out games to finish the year as the Kings try to develop their younger players. This is generally a situation to avoid in most leagues until Skal can show he's capable of producing.
Feb 22 - 8:37 PM

JaVale McGee is expected to start against the Clippers on Thursday, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.

Well, that's a move for the defending champs. They did not have a strong finish to their first half and maybe this is a way coach Steve Kerr looks to get his team going to finish up their regular season. McGee likely won't play more than 15 minutes, so he's not really worth adding unless you're in a deep league.
Feb 22 - 8:34 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay, Courtney Lee, Tim Hardaway Jr., Michael Beasley and Enes Kanter will start against the Magic on Thursday.

This Knicks will roll out a new starting lineup combo with Mudiay running the point. Beasley also had a minor ear irritation earlier this week, but he did go through practice on Wednesday and should be fine. There are a lot of shots to go around in this offense, but there will be a lot of inefficiency.
Feb 22 - 6:44 PM

Justin Holiday will not play on Thursday against the 76ers.

He's not even going to be in uniform, so this is a plot twist from the Bulls saying he'd be in the rotation. The easy analysis here is that Holiday is now a drop candidate in most leagues because his minutes will be cut back. David Nwaba, Denzel Valentine and Zach LaVine should soak up more minutes on the wings tonight and going forward.
Feb 22 - 6:24 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie, D'Angelo Russell, Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll and Jarrett Allen will start against the Hornets on Thursday.

Coach Kenny Atkinson hinted he was going to make a move with Russell starting and he didn't waste any time. The Nets haven't had much success with this lineup duo recently, but they've also lost seven straight. If Russell can shoot the ball better and keep his turnovers down, maybe he'll have a nice finish.
Feb 22 - 6:15 PM

De'Aaron Fox (pink eye) will not play against the Thunder on Thursday.

The Kings opt to rule him out early and chances are he won't be at the arena tonight. With him out, Frank Mason should get a decent chance in his return to the lineup while Garrett Temple, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Buddy Hield could help out. Fox should get big minutes once he's healthy.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: With Fox and all inactive/non-rotation members off the floor, Garrett Temple actually gets the biggest bump in FPPM (fantasy points per minute) with a +0.08 increase while also picking up +1.6% in usage rate. Frank Mason's per-minute production doesn't change much, but the increased court time is where his appeal ties in. Temple is the contrarian target on this side, with Mason also having appeal as a potential starter.
