Shabazz Napier (left toe) is questionable for Friday's game at Sacramento

The Blazers should be OK without him because of Moe Harkless stepping up recently. After coach Terry Stotts teased us with more Napier minutes, it's faded away. He doesn't have much value.
Feb 9 - 5:24 PM

Mitchell Robinson (sprained right ankle) is probable for Friday's game in New Orleans.

Robinson tweaked his ankle on Wednesday, the same one that cost him a few games during the preseason, but it sounds like he'll be fine. He's averaging 3.8 blocks in his past five games and is a great source of FG percentage (63.6%), giving him some ready-made appeal in roto leagues.
Nov 15 - 3:48 PM

Jarrett Allen (illness) is questionable for Friday's game vs. the Wizards.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (right ankle sprain) is also questionable and we'll have to wait for updates on both guys after the Nets' shootaround in D.C. Allen has already missed two games so hopefully he's had enough time to recuperate and get back out there.
Nov 15 - 3:26 PM

Rajon Rondo (fractured right hand) will have surgery within 24 hours and he's expected to miss 3-5 weeks.

The timetable was already known and the only question was if he needed surgery -- he will. Lonzo Ball is a winner while he's sidelined and we'll see more of LeBron James, Brandon Ingram and Lance Stephenson as ball-handlers. Josh Hart could get a boost with the second unit, too. Given his assists-specialist appeal this season, it's hard to justify holding onto him.
Nov 15 - 3:22 PM

Derrick Rose (left knee) practiced on Thursday and coach Tom Thibodeau said "he's good."

This is great news for Rose given his lengthy history of knee injuries, and it sounds like he'll be ready to go Friday vs. the visiting Blazers. He's likely to come off the bench in the sixth-man role he began the season, with Jeff Teague, Robert Covington, Andrew Wiggins, Taj Gibson and KAT in the starting five.
Nov 15 - 2:49 PM

John Collins (left ankle) will be ruled out for Thursday's game vs. Denver.

This isn't surprising since he was listed as 'doubtful' but even that tag is a step in the right direction. He's ramping up his activity in practice and maybe we'll see him in Indiana on Saturday or at home vs. the Clippers on Monday. It can't hurt to double-check that he's not on your waiver wire.
Nov 15 - 2:32 PM

Marcus Morris (illness) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Raptors.

Morris was forced to the sidelines on Wednesday, which resulted in Semi Ojeleye earning 20 minutes off the bench. It'll be more of the same if he's out again tomorrow, but we'll have a better idea on his status following shootaround. Stay tuned.
Nov 15 - 2:00 PM

Steve Kerr said that he'll be "very cautious" bringing Stephen Curry back from his groin injury.

Curry will miss all three games of the current road trip, and it sounds like he could be out beyond that. Kerr said that while Curry's MRI results were "encouraging," Curry is still experiencing symptoms from the groin strain, and the symptoms are the more important metric here. With Golden State being so loaded, they'll have the luxury of taking their time bringing Curry back, and Kerr said he'll want Curry to go through a lot of on-court work before he's cleared to play. Quinn Cook will be worth owning while Curry is out.
Nov 15 - 1:28 PM

Gary Clark (hip) said he intends to play Thursday vs. the Warriors.

Clark is officially being listed as questionable, but he was confident that he'd be able to power through the hip issue when asked directly about his status for tonight's game. "Yup! [I'm playing]," said Clark, "I’ve played two months with a broken ankle. This is nothing." Clark has seen increased minutes with Carmelo Anthony off the floor, but he's still not really doing enough to warrant a roster spot in most settings.
Nov 15 - 11:03 AM

Damian Lillard (right knee) had 31 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds vs. the Lakers in L.A. on Wednesday, making 8-of-23 FGs and 12-of-13 FTs in 38 minutes.

Lillard said after Tuesday's practice, "I got up [Monday], I was a little bit nervous. I was really sore. I got a little workout in [Tuesday]. I felt pretty good moving around." He was listed as 'probable' all along and the knee clearly didn't limit him tonight, so this shouldn't be an ongoing concern. We'll let you know if there's any danger of him missing Friday's road game.

Nov 15 - 1:35 AM

Jusuf Nurkic racked up 21 points, 14 rebounds (six offensive), four blocks and three steals in a losing effort on Wednesday.

He didn't stop there, making 7-of-13 shots and 7-of-8 free throws with just two turnovers in 35 minutes. Nurk has been a punt-FT% type center in years past but he's flipped the narrative this year with 79.5% shooting at the line, and he's up to 84.6% over his past five games. If you hear sirens in the distance, it's just another Nurk Alert.
Nov 15 - 1:34 AM

LeBron James passed Wilt Chamberlain to become the No. 5 all-time NBA scorer on Wednesday, finishing with 44 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, five 3-pointers and three blocks.

It was all LeBron, all the time tonight as he made 13-of-19 field goals and 13-of-15 free throws, en route to the season-high in scoring. Up next on the all-time list are MJ, Kobe, The Mailman and Kareem. He's averaging a sustainable 35.0 minutes and his numbers are in line with recent seasons, which is all fantasy owners need for auto-pilot top-10 value. Oh, and LeBron has the Lakers winning again, too.
