De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is probable for Friday against the Blazers.

He went through non-contact portions of practice on Wednesday and he should be on track to play in the late game. Fox should have a slight increase in usage with George Hill gone, but really the biggest hurdle for him recently has been to stay healthy.
Feb 9 - 3:34 PM

Kevin Durant hit 9-of-23 shots and 11-of-11 free throws for 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in 37 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Hawks.

Durant's feelings must not have been hurt too badly after reportedly (and repeatedly) being called the 'B word' by Draymond Green on Monday, and he helped bring the Warriors back from a three-point halftime deficit for a pretty easy win, despite not hitting any 3-pointers. Green will be back against the Rockets on Thursday with the world watching, and it will be interesting to see if he and KD make amends by then, although tonight's post-game reports indicate that Durant still seems to be bothered by Monday's incident with Green. Regardless of what happens, both players should keep playing at a high level, as the goal of winning another ring surely outweighs any personal feelings they're struggling with right now. Right?
Nov 14 - 1:31 AM

Jonas Jerebko got the start for Draymond Green (one-game suspension) and went off for 14 points, 13 rebounds and four 3-pointers, all of which were season highs for the big man.

That was the 11th double-double of his career, but he should return to some obscurity with Green due back for the next one. The emergence of Jerebko hurt Kevon Looney some tonight, as Looney played just 19 minutes and scored four points. But despite the low minutes, Looney still came through with three rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks. These two are locked in a timeshare and share the honor of backing up Green off the bench, but they're nothing more than DFS fliers in fantasy hoops - at least for now.
Nov 14 - 1:16 AM

Taurean Prince hit 8-of-14 shots and 4-of-7 3-pointers for 22 points, four rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Warriors.

Prince, who had really been struggling and annoying his fantasy owners, had 23 points, seven boards, two steals and five 3-pointers on Sunday against the Lakers, putting his two-game averages at 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 4.5 3-pointers while hitting 17-of-27 shots. Hopefully the early-season slump is behind him and Prince will be ready to roll going forward.
Nov 14 - 1:07 AM

Trae Young struggled against Quinn Cook on Tuesday, hitting just 2-of-12 shots and missing all five of his 3-pointers for a career-low four points. He also had five rebounds, nine assists and three steals, to go with just three turnovers in a 110-103 loss to the Warriors.

This was Young's first NBA game in single-digit scoring and he just never got it going tonight. He's off to a pretty great start to his NBA career, but it will come with some growing pains, which we saw tonight. This is a really tough week for the rookie, as the Hawks still have to play at Denver and at Indy before it's over, and Young will try to start a new double-digit scoring streak against the Nuggets on Thursday night. He's double-doubled in four of his last seven games.
Nov 14 - 12:59 AM

Chris Paul hit 7-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 32 minutes of Tuesdays' win over the Nuggets.

The Carmelo Anthony drama is dying down, Paul has now scored 20 points in consecutive games for the first time this season, and the Rockets won both of those, and have won five of their last seven. After a really slow start to the season, CP3 and the Rockets could be ready to take off, but they'll get a big test on Thursday against the Warriors.
Nov 13 - 11:51 PM

Tristan Thompson pulled down a season-high 21 rebounds in Tuesday's win over Charlotte, adding 11 points, five assists and four turnovers in 28 minutes.

That matches a career-high and it's his third game ever with 20+ rebounds. Thompson has benefitted from the Cavaliers being shorthanded and has four straight double-doubles with averages of 15.5 points, 16.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in that span. He's becoming a must-own player for fantasy owners that can live with the hit to their FT%.
Nov 13 - 10:05 PM

Jonas Jerebko will start for Draymond Green (suspension) on Tuesday vs. the Hawks.

Green is only suspended for one game, so Jerebko is just a desperation stream on a 3-game night.
Nov 13 - 9:58 PM

Jordan Clarkson led the Cavaliers to their second win of the campaign with a season-high 24 points vs. the Hornets on Tuesday.

He only had seven garbage-time points, so this wasn't all about the blowout. Clarkson hit 9-of-15 shots with five rebounds, two assists, one block and a triple in 28 minutes. He's quietly having a good season and has benefitted from Cleveland's tank, as he's flirting with top-100 value in standard leagues for his contributions in points (15.8), assists (1.8) and triples (1.3) on 47.5% shooting.
Nov 13 - 9:47 PM

Jeremy Lamb scored a season-high 22 points vs. the Cavaliers on Tuesday, hitting 8-of-16 shots and 5-of-5 free throws.

He was the lone bright spot for Charlotte as his team was blown out in Cleveland. Lamb added six rebounds, two assists, three steals, one triple and three turnovers and has been hot in November, shooting 50% from the field. Despite playing just 25 minutes per game, Lamb still has top-75 value in 9-category leagues for his efficient scoring and low turnovers (0.9).
Nov 13 - 9:31 PM

Kemba Walker scored a season-low seven points in Tuesday's 113-89 loss to the Cavaliers.

Yes, you read that right. Kemba has been on a tear this season with 27.9 points per game prior to Tuesday, but hit just 2-of-16 shots and 2-of-5 free throws with six assists, four rebounds, two steals, one block, one triple and one turnover in 36 minutes against the NBA's worst rated defense. To make matters worse, fantasy owners who started him in weekly leagues will only be able to deploy him one more time with Charlotte off until Saturday's game vs. Philly. Maybe his back issue from last week limited him, but this was likely just a rare off night for the All-Star.
Nov 13 - 9:22 PM

Clint Capela (knee) and P.J. Tucker (illness) are starting vs. the Nuggets on Tuesday.

He picked up a minor knock on Sunday, but Capela wasn't even listed on the last two injury reports which is great news for his status going forward.
