Michael Beasley scored 21 points with seven rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block and one turnover in 31 minutes against the Raptors during a 113-88 loss on Thursday.

He is going to be chucking a lot of shots and nobody wanted to trade for him today. Maybe Beasley gets bought out, but honestly do you think he'd want to go some team that wouldn't let him get buckets? He should be owned in all leagues.

Markelle Fultz will start at point guard on Tuesday vs. Detroit if Ben Simmons (lower back tightness) is ruled out.

Fultz has struggled with his shot this season, shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and 50 percent from the free-throw line. He would likely log a season-high in playing time if Simmons is unable to suit up, making him an interesting option in DFS formats. On the season, Fultz is averaging 11.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per-36 minutes. T.J. McConnell would backup Fultz and see plenty of playing time off the bench if Fultz struggles on Tuesday.

Ben Simmons (lower back tightness) did not participate in shootaround and coach Brett Brown said that he is doubtful to play Tuesday night vs. Detroit.

Simmons exited Saturday game vs. Orlando due to tightness in his lower back and was unable to practice on Monday. The game notes list Simmons as questionable, but Brown said it's unlikely he suits up. Simmons received treatment and did rehabilitation stretches during the team's shootaround. Brown said Markelle Fultz will start at PG if Simmons is ruled out. That would open up minutes at shooting guard for J.J. Redick. T.J. McConnell would also see an uptick in playing time.

According to Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, John Collins (left ankle) is expected to be sidelined for "several weeks."

Collins was initially injured back in early October. He underwent an MRI on Oct. 2, which revealed mild inflammation and soreness in his left ankle. He then underwent a non-surgical procedure on October 8th and it was announced that he would be re-evaluated on October 22nd. On Tuesday morning, Vivlamore tweeted: "Don't expect [Collins] to be back for several weeks, into November. Still hasn't done court work." This is obviously not the news Collins owners were hoping to hear, but they have no choice but to remain patient. Vince Carter, Omari Spellman, Kevin Huerter and Alex Poythress will continue to divvy up extra minutes.

LeBron James scored 32 points with 14 assists, eight rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples in Monday's 143-142 overtime loss to the Spurs.

LeBron sent the game to overtime with a pull-up triple with 2.4 seconds left, but missed a pair of free throws with 12.8 seconds left in OT and then followed that with a missed step-back jumper in the final second. The Lakers are now 0-3, but they've gone down to the wire against three playoff teams in SAS, HOU and POR. It's too early to panic and we'd expect LBJ to right the ship sooner rather than later. As for his fantasy value, he looks as strong as ever in his age-33 season.
Oct 23 - 2:30 AM

Kyle Kuzma moved into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Spurs and made a big impression, scoring 37 points with eight rebounds, three assists and four triples in 45 minutes.

He finished just one point shy of his career-high, hitting 15-of-25 shots and 3-of-4 free throws. He's an exciting fit next to LeBron James because of his floor spacing and mobility, but this is just a short-term move because Brandon Ingram is suspended (three more games). If tonight was an indication, Kuzma's owners should have quite a week.
Oct 23 - 2:14 AM

Lonzo Ball moved into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Spurs, scoring 14 points with six assists, six rebounds, one steal and three triples.

Coach Luke Walton said Ball doesn't have restrictions, and it was encouraging to see him play 33 minutes in the overtime loss. Ball was also efficient in this one, hitting 4-of-8 shots and 1-of-2 free throws with just one turnover. With Rajon Rondo suspended for two more games, Ball should be able to make a strong case to keep his starting spot the rest of the way. He just needs to stay healthy.
Oct 23 - 1:58 AM

Josh Hart scored 20 points (8-of-14 FGs) with 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes in Monday's overtime loss to the Spurs.

His minutes have gone up in each game and he continues to significantly outplay Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. We would imagine that Hart is on the verge of entering the starting lineup, but either way, there's no way coach Luke Walton can justify not giving Hart 30+ minutes going forward. If you didn't draft him in the late rounds or grab him off the wire, it's probably too late.
Oct 23 - 1:54 AM

DeMar DeRozan posted a monster line in Monday's overtime win over the Lakers, scoring 32 points with 14 assists (career-high), eight rebounds, one steal and two triples in 45 minutes.

He had a combined 13 assists in his previous two games and has taken on more ball-handling responsibility because of injuries in San Antonio's backcourt. He was 11-of-29 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line, joining Tony Parker as the only Spurs in franchise history to post 32+ points and 14+ assists in a game. If he keeps dishing it like he has been, DeRozan could post his best ever season in fantasy.
Oct 23 - 1:46 AM

LaMarcus Aldridge went off for 37 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Monday's 143-142 overtime win over the Lakers.

Who said posts up are dead? LMA was having his way with the Lakers all night no matter who they threw at him. He finished 13-of-22 from the field, but only hit 11-of-18 free throws. LMA is now shooting 62% from the line on the season despite being a career 80.6% shooter, so hopefully this is just a minor hiccup. The Spurs are off to a 2-1 start, LMA still has plenty of gas in the tank and DeMar DeRozan is fitting right in, so the Spurs should like their chances of getting back to the playoffs despite some bad luck with injuries.
Oct 23 - 1:33 AM

Kelly Oubre started the second half of Monday's game vs. Portland, scoring 22 points on 9-of-13 shots with six rebounds, one steal, one block and three triples.

After playing 19 and 20 minutes in Washington's first two games, the Wizards were forced to play smaller when Ian Mahinmi left with back spasms. Oubre ended up playing 39 minutes in the overtime win, scoring 20+ points for the sixth time in his career. The Wizards are short-handed right now and coach Scott Brooks said he wants to play his smaller lineups for "long stretches" going forward, so Oubre is at least worth putting on your watch list.
Oct 23 - 1:14 AM

Otto Porter scored 16 points with 10 rebounds, two steals and one block in 44 minutes in Tuesday's overtime win vs. the Blazers.

OPJ had the play of the game, as he swatted a Damian Lillard shot attempt in the final moment to protect a one-point lead for the Wizards. He really needed this performance because Porter was very underwhelming in his previous two. His minutes should be much safer going forward, especially with the Wizards missing their two top centers in Dwight Howard (back) and Ian Mahinmi (back) -- Markieff Morris slid to the five which opened things up for OPJ and Kelly Oubre.
