According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Grizzlies are still seeking a first-round pick in return for Tyreke Evans.

Even though Lou Williams is no longer on the market, the Grizzlies apparently haven't been offered a first-round pick yet. Wojnarowski added that first-rounders "have never been gripped so tightly in the league," and that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia "have resisted offers beyond either a young player or a second-rounder." It still seems likely that Evans is moved, but getting a first-round pick for an expiring deal won't be easy. We'll find out soon.

Kenneth Faried will debut for the Rockets on Monday vs. the 76ers.

The Rockets cleared a roster spot by waiving James Nunnally. Faried is going to be thrown into the fire right away with "significant" minutes and is worth a flier for his FG%, points and rebounds.

Marc Gasol (back) is a go for Monday's game against the Pelicans.

Gasol acknowledged that he's not 100%, saying that his back got progressively worse on Friday, and he had limited mobility on Saturday. He'll be out there today, but it sounds like he'll be limited, so he's not a great DFS target. Season-long owners can feel free to get him active, though.
Jan 21 - 4:55 PM

Trevor Ariza posted a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double during Monday's easy win over the Pistons, adding four assists, two triples and zero turnovers across 30 minutes.

The Wizards faced little resistance in the paint with Andre Drummond (concussion) unavailable, netting 22 points in the paint within the first 10 minutes of play, and Ariza did an excellent job of constantly driving to the hoop. Jeff Green tacked on 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 24 minutes, and with the game being a massive blowout, both these guys spent the majority of the fourth quarter watching from the bench.
Jan 21 - 4:53 PM

Blake Griffin put up 29 points, nine rebounds, four assists, four 3-pointers and three turnovers across 36 minutes in a blowout loss to the Wizards on Monday.

Griffin ranks in the top-15 amongst starters in usage this season (29.4), but with Andre Drummond unavailable over the past two games, Griffin’s usage has surged to 34.3. The entire Pistons team struggled in this one, with Blake Griffin being the only guy to reach double figures in the scoring department (and connect on multiple shots) through the first half of action, and the end result was a 14-point loss to Washington.
Jan 21 - 4:47 PM

Deandre Ayton (ankle) is doubtful to play on Tuesday against the Timberwolves.

Richaun Holmes is also iffy with a foot injury so the Suns could be very thin up front. If they're both out, Dragan Bender could have a very busy night for the Suns.
Jan 21 - 4:37 PM

Gordon Hayward (personal) is available to play for Monday's game against Miami.

Hayward missed Saturday's game for personal reasons, but he's returned to the team and will be back out there tonight, which could result in a DNP-CD for Semi Ojeleye. Feel free to get Hayward active.
Jan 21 - 4:26 PM

Marc Gasol (back) will be a game-time call for Monday's matchup with the Pelicans.

Gasol is being listed as probable on the injury report, but things aren't official just yet. Owners will need to check back for another update closer to tip-off, but if he's out again, JaMychal Green would likely earn another start with Ivan Rabb seeing extended minutes with the second unit. Stay tuned.
Jan 21 - 4:07 PM

Frank Ntilikina gave the Knicks a huge lift off the bench on Monday vs. the Thunder, finishing with nine points, five assists, two rebounds, one steal and one triple in 30 minutes.

Sure he hit just 4-of-12 from the field, but Ntilikina was everywhere on defense and had a few impressive sequences vs. Paul George (link below). He was also a +3 in a blowout loss. The Knicks haven't given Frank a fair shot this season, an odd move considering he's the No. 8 pick on a tanking team. His fantasy upside isn't the greatest because of his raw offensive game, but keep an eye on him. For what it's worth, coach David Fizdale said he sees Ntilikina as a defender and distributor "that can help us win next year and into the future" despite his name being in the rumor mill.
Jan 21 - 3:53 PM

Wendell Carter Jr. underwent successful thumb surgery on Monday and he will miss the next 8-12 weeks of action.

That pretty much does it for Carter Jr. in fantasy hoops, so he can be sent to the wire in most re-draft formats. Bobby Portis is the primary beneficiary here, and there will be more minutes available for Robin Lopez, Cristiano Felicio and Jabari Parker.
Jan 21 - 3:48 PM

X-rays came back inconclusive on Luke Kornet's left ankle and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI.

Kornet exited Monday's game with the ankle injury, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him miss at least a few games here. That should result in more minutes for Enes Kanter and Mitchell Robinson, with Robinson potentially moving into the starting group. For now, we'll be considering Kornet doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Jan 21 - 3:43 PM

Enes Kanter reiterated on Monday that he's not happy with his role on the Knicks.

Kanter was told by coach David Fizdale that he's now the third-string center, but he checked in on Monday vs. the Thunder when the Knicks were losing by 21 points. He also started the half for an injured Luke Kornet (ankle), finishing with 11 points, three boards and one assist in 19 minutes. He said he'll let his agent handle the next steps, but it's pretty clear that a trade or even a buyout could be in his near future. Fantasy owners should continue to hold him while we see how this plays out.
