Latest Headlines

Mike Scott (illness) will not play on Saturday against the Magic.

The Wizards will be a little thin up front, which means both Markieff Morris and Kelly Oubre should fill minutes. This is also good news for Marcin Gortat because Morris is likely to play almost all PF.
Feb 3 - 5:42 PM

Andre Iguodala is starting over Quinn Cook against the Rockets on Thursday.

The Warriors will get some extra size and defense against James Harden and Chris Paul today. Iguodala has been limited at times this season, so the Warriors likely won't give him heavy minutes even in the starting lineup.
Nov 15 - 7:55 PM

Alex Len (ankle) is available to play vs. Denver on Thursday night.

He went through some warmups already and it sounds like he'll be OK. The Hawks may have regretted playing Len 32 minutes in the last game, so he may be in the 20s today. If he's limited, there will be a few extra minutes for Miles Plumlee and possibly Omari Spellman.
Nov 15 - 7:21 PM

Seth Curry (knee) is out for Friday night against the Wolves.

The team is calling it a right patellar bruise and he is day-to-day. Curry has been seeing time at the three perimeter positions and has played next to Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum at times, so there should be a few extra minutes available for Evan Turner and Nik Stauskas. Wade Baldwin could enter the rotation or coach Terry Stotts could go back to his days of staggering Dame and C.J. more.
Nov 15 - 7:10 PM

Draymond Green (sprained right toe) may be on a minute-limit, according to coach Steve Kerr.

It's unclear how long the limit might last but Kerr cited the Warriors' busy schedule as one reason, with games on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. He'll start vs. the Rockets on Thursday and is safe to deploy, but the possibility of restricted minutes lessens his appeal for DFS.
Nov 15 - 6:49 PM

Taurean Prince (Achilles pain) is listed out for Thursday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Prince had a sprained right ankle recently but this is the first time we've even mentioned an Achilles issue since he joined the NBA. DeAndre Bembry should step into a big role tonight and makes sense as a speculative handcuff if you own Prince and have a guy you can cut. He's also solid in DFS tonight. Until we get more details, owners should consider Prince day-to-day.
Nov 15 - 5:46 PM

Carmelo Anthony's tenure with the Rockets "is over," according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Woj adds that Houston doesn't have immediate plans to waive him -- he'll stay on the roster, for now, but "will not rejoin the team." It was first reported on Nov. 11 by the New York Times that Melo's time in Houston was almost over, so this report was inevitable. After two brutal stints with OKC and Houston, it's hard to see him emerging as a fantasy asset this season.
Nov 15 - 5:15 PM

Seth Curry (right knee) is listed as day-to-day after an MRI on Wednesday.

His return will be "based on pain tolerance and movement," and the day-to-day tag confirms nothing serious was revealed in the MRI. Portland's next five games are on the road, beginning Friday in Minnesota, and it'll be telling whether he's traveling with the team. If he can't play, Nik Stauskas and Gary Trent should benefit the most.
Nov 15 - 4:47 PM

Danny Green (lower back stiffness) is listed as probable for Friday's game vs. Boston.

It's a key game vs. a Division rival and it sounds like Green will be in the starting lineup. We should have confirmation after shootaround, so check for updates on Friday afternoon. The Raptors will be thin on the wings if he's unexpectedly ruled out, since Norman Powell (shoulder) is sidelined and C.J. Miles (adductor) is doubtful.
Nov 15 - 4:20 PM

Mitchell Robinson (sprained right ankle) is probable for Friday's game in New Orleans.

Robinson tweaked his ankle on Wednesday, the same one that cost him a few games during the preseason, but it sounds like he'll be fine. He's averaging 3.8 blocks in his past five games and is a great source of FG percentage (63.6%), giving him some ready-made appeal in roto leagues.
Nov 15 - 3:48 PM

Jarrett Allen (illness) is questionable for Friday's game vs. the Wizards.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (right ankle sprain) is also questionable and we'll have to wait for updates on both guys after the Nets' shootaround in D.C. Allen has already missed two games so hopefully he's had enough time to recuperate and get back out there.
Nov 15 - 3:26 PM

Rajon Rondo (fractured right hand) will have surgery within 24 hours and he's expected to miss 3-5 weeks.

The timetable was already known and the only question was if he needed surgery -- he will. Lonzo Ball is a winner while he's sidelined and we'll see more of LeBron James, Brandon Ingram and Lance Stephenson as ball-handlers. Josh Hart could get a boost with the second unit, too. Given his assists-specialist appeal this season, it's hard to justify holding onto him.
