Jameer Nelson has also been traded to the Bulls along with Tony Allen and Omer Asik.

Just like Tony Allen, the Bulls are likely going to end up waiving Nelson. He could still latch on with a contender if that happens, but there's no fantasy appeal for the time being.

Blake Griffin put up 29 points, nine rebounds, four assists, four 3-pointers and three turnovers across 36 minutes in a blowout loss to the Wizards on Monday.

Griffin ranks in the top-15 amongst starters in usage this season (29.4), but with Andre Drummond unavailable over the past two games, Griffin’s usage has surged to 34.3. The entire Pistons team struggled in this one, with Blake Griffin being the only guy to reach double figures in the scoring department (and connect on multiple shots) through the first half of action, and the end result was a 14-point loss to Washington.

Deandre Ayton (ankle) is doubtful to play on Tuesday against the Timberwolves.

Richaun Holmes is also iffy with a foot injury so the Suns could be very thin up front. If they're both out, Dragan Bender could have a very busy night for the Suns.
Jan 21 - 4:37 PM

Gordon Hayward (personal) is available to play for Monday's game against Miami.

Hayward missed Saturday's game for personal reasons, but he's returned to the team and will be back out there tonight, which could result in a DNP-CD for Semi Ojeleye. Feel free to get Hayward active.
Jan 21 - 4:26 PM

Marc Gasol (back) will be a game-time call for Monday's matchup with the Pelicans.

Gasol is being listed as probable on the injury report, but things aren't official just yet. Owners will need to check back for another update closer to tip-off, but if he's out again, JaMychal Green would likely earn another start with Ivan Rabb seeing extended minutes with the second unit. Stay tuned.

Frank Ntilikina gave the Knicks a huge lift off the bench on Monday vs. the Thunder, finishing with nine points, five assists, two rebounds, one steal and one triple in 30 minutes.

Sure he hit just 4-of-12 from the field, but Ntilikina was everywhere on defense and had a few impressive sequences vs. Paul George (link below). He was also a +3 in a blowout loss. The Knicks haven't given Frank a fair shot this season, an odd move considering he's the No. 8 pick on a tanking team. His fantasy upside isn't the greatest because of his raw offensive game, but keep an eye on him. For what it's worth, coach David Fizdale said he sees Ntilikina as a defender and distributor "that can help us win next year and into the future" despite his name being in the rumor mill.
Jan 21 - 3:53 PM

Wendell Carter Jr. underwent successful thumb surgery on Monday and he will miss the next 8-12 weeks of action.

That pretty much does it for Carter Jr. in fantasy hoops, so he can be sent to the wire in most re-draft formats. Bobby Portis is the primary beneficiary here, and there will be more minutes available for Robin Lopez, Cristiano Felicio and Jabari Parker.
Jan 21 - 3:48 PM

X-rays came back inconclusive on Luke Kornet's left ankle and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI.

Kornet exited Monday's game with the ankle injury, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him miss at least a few games here. That should result in more minutes for Enes Kanter and Mitchell Robinson, with Robinson potentially moving into the starting group. For now, we'll be considering Kornet doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Jan 21 - 3:43 PM

Enes Kanter reiterated on Monday that he's not happy with his role on the Knicks.

Kanter was told by coach David Fizdale that he's now the third-string center, but he checked in on Monday vs. the Thunder when the Knicks were losing by 21 points. He also started the half for an injured Luke Kornet (ankle), finishing with 11 points, three boards and one assist in 19 minutes. He said he'll let his agent handle the next steps, but it's pretty clear that a trade or even a buyout could be in his near future. Fantasy owners should continue to hold him while we see how this plays out.

Kevin Huerter suffered a neck injury while going through his pregame routine on Monday and will not play, with Taurean Prince drawing the start in his place.

Huerte went back to the locker room during pregame warmups and was not present when the starting lineups were introduced, so for now, we're going to consider him questionable for Wednesday's game in Chicago. Prince is getting the start and is officially without a minutes limit, so maybe he'll see 30 minutes today.
Jan 21 - 3:14 PM

Kenneth Faried is expected to be available to play on Monday against the 76ers.

The Rockets will need to trade or waive a player before they can make Faried's signing official, but that's expected to happen prior to Monday's 8:00 pm ET tip. Faried is in a great spot to produce in Houston, so he should be owned just about everywhere.
Jan 21 - 3:11 PM

Paul George led the Thunder with a game-high 31 points (9-of-18 FGs) in a 127-109 win over the Knicks on Monday.

That's back-to-back 31-point games for PG-13, and this one comes on the heels of his clutch game-winning triple vs. the 76ers. He went 9-of-9 from the line and is now 20-of-20 over his last two outings, adding four rebounds, four assists, one steal and four triples. He's on pace for his best ever season in real life and in fantasy, as he ranks 4th overall in total value for 9-category leagues.
