The Celtics will not sign Jarell Eddie to a second 10-day contract.

They want to keep their options open with the trade deadline approaching.

Aaron Gordon (left ankle sprain) returned from a one-game absence vs. the Wizards on Monday and stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes.

Defensive stats have never been his thing even though he can jump through the roof, so four combined steals and blocks was a nice surprise. Since his 4-point dud on Nov. 2, Gordon has shown his upside with first-round per-game value in 9-category leagues over his last five outings with 20.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.2 triples. Just keep in mind that he's not going to be able to sustain his shooting percentages (53.2% from the field and 90% from the line in that span).
Nov 12 - 10:08 PM

Anthony Davis scored 25 points while also accounting for 20 rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots in 40 minutes as New Orleans beat Toronto, 126-110.

Davis' first game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds this season was also his ninth double-double of 2018-19. The five-time all-star shot 11-for-20 from the field (1-for-2 3PT; 2-for-2 FT) on the night, the second time in the last three games that he's managed to shoot at least 54 percent from the field. Davis was defended by Pascal Siakam for much of Monday's game, and he managed to take advantage of that matchup in helping the Pelicans pick up the win.
Nov 12 - 9:59 PM

Terrence Ross scored a team-high 21 points in Monday's 117-109 loss to Washington, hitting 7-of-14 shots and 3-of-3 free throws with three rebounds, two assists, one block and four triples.

Since Jonathan Isaac (ankle) went down, Ross came into tonight's game as a top-75 value in 9-category leagues with 16.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.8 triples, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks on 50.8% shooting. He’s been Orlando’s most reliable player off the bench, and even though Isaac is nearing a return, Ross is worth owning until that happens with three more games on the schedule this week.
Nov 12 - 9:58 PM

E'Twaun Moore tallied 30 points, three assists, two rebounds, one steal and three three-pointers in 36 minutes of action against Toronto Monday night.

Moore was one half of the backcourt that outplayed Toronto's starting guards in New Orleans' 126-110 victory, shooting 13-for-18 from the field (3-for-5 3PT). The 30 points represent a season high, and this is the third time in his career that he's scored at least 30 in a game. Moore's had more opportunities to score with Elfrid Payton (ankle) out of the lineup, and he's taken advantage in recent games.
Nov 12 - 9:51 PM

John Wall led the Wizards to a 117-109 win over the Magic on Monday, scoring 25 points with 10 assists for his third double-double of the season.

He was an efficient 9-of-15 from the field with four rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples, but did hit just 5-of-8 from the line with three turnovers. The Wizards have now won three out of their last five to improve to 4-9 and all of Wall's double-doubles have been in that span. Wall has been instrumental in Washington’s turnaround, averaging 23.2 points, 9.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 triples, 2.4 steals and 3.6 turnovers in his previous five November games. With games coming up against the Cavaliers and Nets, Washington could continue their climb from the bottom of the East.
Nov 12 - 9:29 PM

Caris LeVert suffered a nasty foot/ankle injury on Monday vs. the Wolves and had to be stretchered off.

We recommend not looking at the replay because his ankle completely turned the opposite direction. It looked eerily similar to what happened to Gordon Hayward and this has the potential to sideline him for a long time. He's going to be re-evaluated at a local hospital, but there's no diagnosis yet with Nets PR calling it a "right leg injury."
Nov 12 - 9:09 PM

Dewayne Dedmon (personal) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

This will be the second missed game in a row for Dedmon, which will translate to more minutes for Alex Len. It's unclear if he'll rejoin the team for the remaining three games of this road trip, so he should be left on the bench in weekly settings.
Nov 12 - 7:29 PM

Luka Doncic (bruised right thigh) is starting vs. the Bulls on Monday.

He's been on the injury report several times this season, but he's yet to miss a game. Even at less than 100 percent, he should crush against Chicago's defense.
Nov 12 - 7:27 PM

Dorian Finney-Smith will move into the starting lineup for Monday’s game vs. Chicago, with Wesley Matthews (hamstring) unavailable.

Minutes don’t always translate to production with Finney-Smith, but he will get a favorable matchup tonight, so he might be someone to think about as a punt play in DFS. J.J. Barea and Devin Harris could also see the floor a bit more tonight with Matthews watching from the sidelines.
Nov 12 - 7:24 PM

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will move into the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.

Jarrett Allen (illness) is out tonight, and it'll be interesting to see how effective RHJ can be going up against Karl-Anthony Towns. Ed Davis and Kenneth Faried should also see an uptick in minutes with Allen out, but RHJ makes for a more attractive DFS play.
Nov 12 - 7:21 PM

Andrew Wiggins (quad) and Jeff Teague (ankle) will be in the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Nets.

That "quad" issue that forced Wiggins to the sidelines on Friday is looking mighty suspect, as Wiggins had previously logged heavy minutes in five straight games prior to missing that one. Jimmy Butler was traded the next day, so one has to wonder if Wiggins' name was brought up in potential deals. Either way, he'll return to the floor tonight and should see his regular minutes, so owners can feel free to get him active. The Wolves will go with a starting five featuring Teague, Derrick Rose, Wiggins, Taj Gibson and Karl-Anthony Towns.
