Dante Exum (shoulder) has been cleared for non-contact drills.

He was spotted taking some jumpers before Monday's game, so Exum does appear to be progressing. The Jazz struck gold on Donovan Mitchell, so it's going to be even tougher for Exum to get minutes when he's healthy again.

Kyle Lowry exited in the third quarter on Saturday with a right ankle injury, but coach Nick Nurse doesn't think it's serious.

Lowry didn't limp leaving the arena, and Nurse said, "I just saw him and he said that he twisted it. But he was pretty lively in the locker room." He finished with eight points, eight assists, seven rebounds, three steals and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes, and simply wasn't needed with Toronto leading by 32 after three quarters. The Raptors don't play again until Tuesday and with two full days to rest, we're assuming he'll be fine for that road game in Orlando. He'll be re-evaluated on Sunday so check back soon for updates.
Nov 17 - 10:46 PM

Nicolas Batum didn't score in 19 minutes against the Sixers on Saturday.

Batum did register four assists, one rebound, one steal, and one block. His usage is way down with Kemba Walker running the show and not leaving much for Batum. He's averaging just 6.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 26.4 minutes over his last five games. The scoring might not be there, but at least the boards and dimes are somewhat. Don't give up just yet.
Nov 17 - 10:38 PM

Nikola Vucevic scored a season-high 36 points during a 130-117 win over the Lakers on Saturday, adding 13 rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

The Magic were in rare form and hit 130 points in regulation for the first time since 2016. Vucevic also has scored 30 points in consecutive games to become the first Magic player to accomplish that feat since Victor Oladipo in 2015. He will continue to put up big numbers as long as he's active, and he's currently sitting on top-15 value on the season in standard leagues.
Nov 17 - 10:36 PM

Jonathan Isaac blocked a career-high five shots against the Lakers on Saturday, adding seven points, five rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes.

He's all upside and he showed it yet again. Isaac was on a minutes limit because of his oft-injured right ankle, and the Magic may have to keep a limit on him for a bit. Isaac may not see as many minutes at small forward either, but obviously this kind of line is just too good to leave on the wire in any league where he was dropped.
Nov 17 - 10:28 PM

Kemba Walker erupted for 60 points (21-of-34 FG, 12-of-12 FT) with seven rebounds, four assists, a season-high four steals, six 3-pointers, and a season-high nine turnovers in season-high 45 minutes against the Sixers on Saturday.

Walker notched the first 60-point game in the NBA since James Harden at the end of January last season. He's now attempted 29, 31, and 34 shots in his three games against the Sixers this season. This is about as best as you can do to bounce back from a season-low seven points, like he had last time out. Kemba is playing at an All-NBA level right now.

The Kings denied a report from Yahoo Sports that there "appears to be a substantial disconnect" between the front office and coach Dave Joerger.

The rift reportedly stems from differing views of "the franchise's priorities and direction," and Yahoo's Chris Haynes writes, "Joerger’s handling of 2018 No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley III could eventually lead to the coach’s dismissal." In response, Sacramento released a terse statement refuting the report. "Dave has our full support and confidence," it reads. "We continue to work together to develop our young core and compete."
Nov 17 - 10:13 PM

Anthony Davis went off on the second night of a back-to-back set during a 125-115 win over the Nuggets on Saturday, scoring 40 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and no turnovers in 38 minutes.

Not bad after a 43/17/5 line. It's the fourth time he's scored 40-plus in consecutive games and he matched his career-high dimes in this win. Plus, he also did a great job on Nikola Jokic after the first quarter, too. Davis did have to go to the locker room with a nagging left arm injury in the first half, but he was rolling in the second half to get another win. He looks unstoppable right now.
Nov 17 - 10:05 PM

Monte Morris moved back to the bench on Saturday against the Pelicans, making 6-of-7 from the field for 13 points with three rebounds, four assists, two turnovers and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

The Nuggets went small more often in this game, so that explains Morris getting so many minutes next to the guards. He's seeing more time next to Jamal Murray these days and he's playing too well not to see minutes in the 20s most games. He's been phenomenal per minute this season, so he's proving he's worth owning in standard leagues until further notice.
Nov 17 - 9:27 PM

Tobias Harris scored season-high 27 points in a 127-119 win in Brooklyn on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

The Strong Island native was in control all night and it's almost a surprise that his 27 points is his highest given how well he's played all year. Harris is arguably the most consistent non-superstar scorer in the NBA and has hit at least 15 points in every game this season. He's cruising to top-30 value this season and his durability should keep him there.
Nov 17 - 9:06 PM

Alex Poythress (left ankle contusion) will not return on Saturday night.

He ran into Darren Collison and was in a lot of pain on the bench before going to the locker room. Poythress got a spot start against his former team today, but he'll almost certainly be moving to the bench even if he's OK. Omari Spellman and Vince Carter will get some extra minutes with John Collins at his minutes cap.
Nov 17 - 8:50 PM

Jarrett Allen made 8-of-13 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line for a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one turnover in 28 minutes during a 127-119 loss to the Clippers.

He has come alive as an offensive weapon, especially on the offensive glass with 5.5 per game in his last two since returning from an illness. If Allen keeps rebounding this well, he should continue to flirt with 30 minutes after his 16-12 line on Friday. Plus, he's starting to make his free throws again, so Allen is looking like that player his owners reached for in drafts. He's a must-start player in all leagues.
