The Wizards have waived F Michael Young.

No fantasy impact to note here, as Young never appeared in a game for the Wiz.

Jan 3 - 4:05 PM

Trae Young, Kent Bazemore, Kevin Huerter, Alex Poythress and Alex Len will start against the Pacers on Saturday.

DeAndre Bembry will move to the bench with Taurean Prince out. Bembry struggled against the Nuggets in his start and it messed up the flow of the offense, so putting Huerter back out there will help Trae Young run the O again. Huerter is more of a desperation stream for owners seeking treys or as a DFS tourney play.
Nov 17 - 5:55 PM

Zach LaVine (illness) is listed as out against the Raptors on Saturday.

Team reporters have called him unlikely to play, so it sounds like LaVine is not going to be out there after playing through a cold on Friday night. With him out, Antonio Blakeney and Shaq Harrison should absorb the SG minutes while Justin Holiday and Jabari Parker get plenty of shots in the first unit.

Alex Poythress will get the start against the Pacers on Saturday night.

It's unclear if Poythress will start at power forward or center, but it could be power forward in a revenge game because both Alex Len and Dewayne Dedmon are available for this one. Coach Lloyd Pierce is likely just trying something with Omari Spellman struggling, but it'll be a moot point soon because John Collins is back.
Nov 17 - 5:39 PM

Aaron Gordon (ankle) is a game-time decision against the Lakers on Saturday.

He'll be going through warmups and the Magic will decide after that. If he can't go, Jarell Martin is likely going to get the start and he should see decent minutes because Jonathan Isaac is still on a minutes limit. Gordon not playing would also lead to more shots for the rest of the rotation in what should be a faster game than the team is used to, so there would be a lot of DFS targets.
Nov 17 - 5:30 PM

Victor Oladipo (knee) is a game-time call again the Hawks on Saturday.

He'll warm up and the Pacers will decide after that. Oladipo did not play well in Friday's game against the Heat with just eight points, so maybe the knee problem affected him. If he's out, Tyreke Evans would get some extra run on the wing while Cory Joseph and Darren Collison could see extended minutes.
Nov 17 - 5:28 PM

JaMychal Green (jaw) is expected to return Sunday against the Wolves.

He has been out since Oct. 19 when he suffered a fracture to his jaw. Things are a little different now because Jaren Jackson Jr. has been outstanding, coming off a career-high 27 points. The Grizzlies are also playing solid ball right now, so Green may not get his starting job back. He would only be a speculative add in deeper leagues, and JJJ's fantasy owners shouldn't worry too much here.
Nov 17 - 5:25 PM

Elfrid Payton (finger) will have surgery on his fractured left pinky.

Last night, coach Alvin Gentry said Payton was day-to-day, but that obviously won't be the case now. Surgery on finger fractures usually range around 4-6 weeks, but the Pelicans won't announce his timetable at this time. Payton's fantasy owners may want to want for him to have the surgery first before cutting him. Wes Johnson will likely get more starts while Darius Miller could see more playing time, as well.
Nov 17 - 5:22 PM

Seth Curry (right knee) and Moe Harkless (left knee) will not play on Sunday against the Wizards.

It'll be Curry's second game out of the lineup due to a patellar bruise. On Friday, the Blazers surprisingly had Anfernee Simons fill in for Curry as a bench guard, so he may get another chance. Simons isn't worth adding in just about any league.
Nov 17 - 5:06 PM

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) is available vs. the Clippers on Saturday.

He turned his ankle on Wednesday and was able to stay in the game, but the Nets held him out on Friday. Hollis-Jefferson continues to play some center i the rotation, but that may change because of the Nets losing depth at forward with Caris LeVert (foot) out indefinitely. Hollis-Jefferson was starting to heat up and should be owned in standard leagues.

Russell Westbrook (ankle) participated in shootaround, but his status for Saturday's game vs. the Suns is uncertain.

Westbrook, who has missed each of the Thunder's previous five contests, is listed as "out" on the injury report. However, he was able to take part in practice on Friday, including part of the contact portions, and was able to shoot around with the team Saturday morning. The Thunder and Suns tip off at 9:00 pm EST, so we should have a definitive update on his status by 7:30, when coach Billy Donovan speaks with the media.
Nov 17 - 2:11 PM

Draymond Green (right toe sprain) will not play Saturday vs. the Mavs and appears unlikely to play Sunday vs. San Antonio.

Here is Steve Kerr's quote on Draymond: "We decided to give him some time off. Don’t know how long it’ll be. The toe (sprain) is lingering." Not exactly encouraging news. We should have an update on Green after Saturday's game, but we'll consider him doubtful for Sunday's matchup vs. the Spurs. With Alfonzo McKinnie (foot) already ruled out for Saturday, the Warriors will be a bit thin up front. Jonas Jerebko will likely see extended minutes, and Jordan Bell and Kevon Looney will likely see an uptick as well.
