Damian Jones has been sent back down to the G-League.

He'll play more in the G-League than he does in the NBA this season.

Cedi Osman (ankle) is being listed in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season opener against the Raptors.

According to the lineup notes, Osman will be joined by George Hill, Rodney Hood, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson in the starting unit. There's a massive hole to fill in Cleveland with LeBron James no longer in town, and Osman could look to take on some of the offensive burden. Feel free to get him active.

Bruce Brown is being listed as a starter for Wednesday's season opener against the Nets.

Being listed as a starter in the lineup notes doesn't necessarily mean that Brown will indeed start, but with both Reggie Bullock (illness) and Stanley Johnson (toe) out tonight, it would make sense for Brown to join the starting unit. Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond are also listed amongst the starters for Wednesday's game.

Reggie Bullock (illness) is out on Wednesday against the Nets.

The Pistons are really thin tonight, so we'll see Bruce Brown and Luke Kennard in the starting lineup. Bullock is just dealing with the flu and should be back out there this weekend.
Oct 17 - 6:55 PM

Jakob Poeltl is getting the start in the opener against the Wolves.

The Spurs are gutted in the backcourt, so they'll go heavier in the frontcourt tonight. Plus, the matchup makes sense against Karl-Anthony Towns and Taj Gibson. Poeltl offers nice upside for blocks with efficient shooting, so he could have value. Although, the coach Gregg Popovich factor likely means he'll mix in some duds.
Oct 17 - 6:52 PM

Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Jonas Valanciunas will start against the Cavs on Wednesday.

Coach Nick Nurse said he is going to routinely change his starting lineup, so this will be a fluid situation. Regardless, it's a great sign for Siakam that Nurse has confidence to start him opening night. He's been terrific all summer and could become a hot pickup with a strong line here. If your league is competitive, you may want to beat the rush and grab him now.
Oct 17 - 6:48 PM

Carmelo Anthony will come off the bench on Wednesday against the Pelicans.

Someone tell Paul George. Last year's reference aside, credit to Melo for taking one for the team. He has said he still thinks he's a starter in the league, but it does make a lot of sense to bring him off the bench. He can be the No. 2 option next to either Chris Paul or James Harden as those two are staggered, but he may not be closing. He'll offer some ceiling in one of the more interesting situations of the season.
Oct 17 - 6:29 PM

Derrick Jones Jr. and Rodney McGruder will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season opener against the Magic.

Wayne Ellington (ankle), Dion Waiters (ankle) and James Johnson (hernia) are out tonight, so Jones Jr. and McGruder should see steady minutes with the starting unit tonight. Joining them will be Goran Dragic, Josh Richardson and Hassan Whiteside, and Richardson is looking like an attractive DFS play with little depth behind him.
Oct 17 - 6:26 PM

James Ennis will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season opener against the Pelicans, and Carmelo Anthony will come off the bench.

Ennis will be joined by Chris Paul, James Harden, P.J. Tucker and Clint Capela, and that lineup should hold, unless they have serious issues. Melo has talked a lot about embracing the sixth man role, but it'll be interesting to see who's on the floor to close tonight. Ennis isn't a target in most settings, despite the starter tag.
Oct 17 - 6:22 PM

D'Angelo Russell, Joe Harris, Caris LeVert, Jared Dudley and Jarrett Allen will start against the Pistons on Wednesday.

The Nets don't have Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) or Allen Crabbe (ankle) to cut down their perimeter shooting. Harris is going to have no problem filling the role left by Crabbe while Dudley may be on a shorter leash with Treveon Graham and Rodion Kurucs nipping at his heels. Dudley isn't the best fantasy play.

Courtney Lee (neck) will not play Wednesday against the Hawks.

So the Knicks are a little short on perimeter players with Emmanuel Mudiay also not suiting up. This should mean Frank Ntilikina is going to get heavy minutes on the wing and he should be out there in three-guard lineups. This likely means Ron Baker could be in the rotation, and we may get a longer look at undrafted rookie Allonzo Trier. DFS wise, Burke looks like a nice play while Tim Hardaway Jr. gets even more run in a revenge game.
Oct 17 - 5:51 PM

Delon Wright (groin) is out against the Cavs on Wednesday.

His injury last week did not look good as he limped to the locker room, and it was even a small surprise he wasn't ruled out. Wright has been a staple in the second unit and mostly slotted in as the backup SG while the team was healthy, so his absence means a few more chances for Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell.
