Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus will split up at the end of 2018 season, ending one of the most successful pairings of all time.

Knaus and Johnson have not been getting the results everyone expected in the past two years. The two have been together since 2002. Kevin Meendering will join Johnson after being Elliott Sadler's crew chief in the Xfinity Series this year.

Daniel Suarez tagged the wall hard on Lap 1 of the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway and lost two laps making repairs.

Suarez qualified in the top 10 and was one of our favorites among non-playoff contenders. If he was one of yours as well, remove him from the NASCAR Fantasy Live roster.

Leilani Munter (No. 20 Toyota) finished 14th in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series season-ending Kansas ARCA 150 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

She started 19th in the lineup and completed 98 laps of the 100-lap race. Munter competed in eight of the 20 ARCA races so this year and closed out the season 21st in the 2018 driver championship standings after this event.

NASCAR K&N Pro Series East regular Anthony Alfredo, driving the Matthew Miller No. 40 Toyota, was credited with a 15th place DNF in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series season-ending Kansas ARCA 150 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

He started 11th on the grid and completed 97 laps of the 100-lap race before exiting the event (Engine). This was only the second ARCA race entered by Alfredo. He closed out the K&N East season ranked fifth in that series' driver championship standings.

Drew Herring (No. 19 Toyota), who was making his first ARCA Racing Series start in nine years, finished eighth in Friday night's season-ending Kansas ARCA 150 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

He started on the pole, led a race-high 40 laps and completed all laps of the 100-lap event.

He started 15th on the grid. He was caught up in a multi-car wreck triggered by Justin Allgaier getting into Christian Bell on the first lap. Annett actually never completed the entire first lap and was done for the day. He is currently 13th in the 2018 driver standings after this event.

John Hunter Nemechek (No. 42 Chevrolet) won the Kansas Lottery 300, his first victory in 15 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) races.

Nemechek, who was making his series track debut at Kansas Speedway, earned his eighth top-10 NXS finish in 2018. Daniel Hemric (second) led a race-high 148 laps in the 200-lap event and posted his first top-10 finish in two races at Kansas. It is his 20th top-10 finish in 2018. Elliott Sadler (third) posted his seventh top-10 finish in nine Kansas races. Tyler Reddick (fifth) was the highest finishing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. Daniel Hemric leads the NXS point standings by 9 points over Elliott Sadler after this event.
