After a limited schedule last year, Petersburg, W.V.'s Codie Rohrbaugh is looking for more in 2018, starting with the 55th running of the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire Saturday at Daytona Int'l Speedway.

Rohrbaugh tested at Daytona in mid-January, coming away with the 27th fastest speed out of the 60-plus drivers who participated. "Our No. 7 Grant County Mulch Chevrolet is going to be pretty good this weekend at Daytona," said Rohrbaugh, who will make his 11th career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards start and second at Daytona Saturday.

Zane Smith (No. 41 Toyota) was credited with a 17th place DNF in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series season-ending Kansas ARCA 150 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

He started ninth on the grid and completed 76 laps of the 100-lap race before exiting the event (Crash). Smith, who competed in all 20 ARCA races this year, closed out the season runner-up in the 2018 driver championship standings, 425 points behind 2018 Champion Sheldon Creed.

Riley Herbst (No. 18 Toyota) finished fourth in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series season-ending Kansas ARCA 150 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

He started fifth in the lineup, led three laps and completed all laps of the 100-lap race. Herbst, who competed in all 20 ARCA races this year, closed out the season sixth in the 2018 ARCA championship standings, 90 points behind second-placed Zane Smith and 515 points behind 2018 Champion Sheldon Creed.

Justin Allgaier (No. 7 Chevrolet) was credited with a 38th place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

He started third on the grid. He got loose right after the green flag and got into the No. 20 of Christian Bell. Both were done for the day and it also caused a multi-car wreck on the first lap. Allgaier is currently sixth in the 2018 driver standings after this event, four points behind fifth-placed Matt Tifft.

Scott Graves will serve as crew chief for the (Roush Fenway Racing) No. 6 Ford team and driver Ryan Newman next season in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

The move marks a reunion for team owner Jack Roush, who employed Graves as a crew chief from 2012-15 and as a race engineer before that. Graves brought the Roush Fenway team an Xfinity Series championship with driver Chris Buescher in 2015, one year before he claimed the Xfinity crown with Daniel Suarez at Joe Gibbs Racing. Graves replaces Matt Puccia, who has been crew chief for the No. 6 team since 2016.

Joey Logano will challenge for the pole this week in the First Data 500 at Martinsville Speedway because of his record in qualification with Team Penske.

In his last 11 starts, Logano has never failed to qualify on one of the first three rows at Martinsville. He has earned four poles in his last seven attempts as well as sitting on the outside pole in fall 2016. Logano should be this week's pick for the top spot on Friday in the NASCAR Fantasy Live game.

Kyle Busch enters the First Data 500 at Martinsville Speedway with six consecutive top-fives on this track.

During his streak of six consecutive top-fives, Busch has earned two victories. He inherited the lead last fall when Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin tangled and he also visited victory lane in spring 2016. Busch's last win this season came on the short track of Richmond. All that combines to make him a very good value.
