Alex Labbé, the current NASCAR Pinty’s Series Champion will be competing full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, at the wheel of the Kappa-Cyclops Gear-Wholey Seafood No. 36 Chevrolet from the AM Prime Racing Team.

AM Prime Racing, a new team, has been created by Alain Mounir to support Alex Labbé as he tackles his rookie season in the XFINITY Series. Mounir is also the owner of GoFAS Racing, the team that took Alex Labbé to the 2017 driver championship in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. Veteran Crew Chief Mario Gosselin will direct team operations. His experience as a two-time Championship-winning Crew Chief in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series will add the expertise necessary to produce the best possible results from of the team, the equipment and rookie XFINITY driver Alex Labbé.

Myatt Snider (No. 13 Ford F-150) was credited with a 29th place DNF in Thursday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 200 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started 17th in the lineup and completed 161 laps of the 200-lap race before exiting the race (Power Steering). Snider, who started in all 16 truck races so far this season, is currently ninth in the 2018 NCWTS driver standings after this event.

Wendell Chavous (No. 49 Chevrolet Silverado) finished 23rd in Thursday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 200 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started 32nd in the lineup and completed 196 laps of the 200-lap race. Chavous entered all 16 truck races so far this season and is currently 15th in the 2018 NCWTS driver point standings after this event.

Woody Pitkat (No. 82 Chevrolet) was credited with a 19th place DNF in Thursday night's NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) Bush's Beans 150 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started 13th on the grid and completed 33 laps of the 150-lap race before exiting the event (Electrical). Pitkat, who competed in nine of the 11 NWMT races run so far this year, is currently 17th in the 2018 championship standings.

Andy Seuss (No. 57 Chevrolet) finished 13th in Thursday night's NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) Bush's Beans 150 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started 15th in the lineup and completed 148 laps in the 150-lap race. Seuss, who entered four of the 11 NWMT races so far this season, is currently 34th in the 2018 championship standings after this event.

Parker Kligerman (No. 75 Chevrolet Silverado ) finished fourth in Thursday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 200 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started sixth in the lineup and completed all laps of the 200-lap race. Kligerman entered six of the 16 truck races so far this season and is currently 25th in the 2018 NCWTS driver point standings after this event.

NASCAR XFINITY Series regular John Hunter Nemechek (No. 42 Camaro), driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado in Thursday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 200 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway, finished in third place.

He started third in the lineup, led a race-high 104 laps and completed all laps of the 200-lap race. Since Nemechek is not an NCWTS regular competitor, he is not eligible to earn points in the 2018 NCWTS driver championship standings.

Justin Bonsignore led the final 60 laps of the Bush’s Beans 150 at Bristol Motor Speedway, held off Chase Dowling over the run to the checkered flag and rolled into Bristol’s Victory Lane for the first time in his career on Thursday night.

The win was his sixth of the 2018 season, his 18th career in Whelen Modified Tour competition and his first at the 0.533-mile Tennessee oval. He was finally able to knock ‘Thunder Valley’ off his bucket list.

Kyle Busch posted the fastest single lap in Happy Hour for the Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway with a lap of 126.729 mph.

Little surprise there. Busch has won the last two races on this track. Last year, he swept all three national series in August and he is easily the favorite to win this week. All he needs to do, it stay out of trouble.

Martin Truex Jr. posted the quickest 10-lap average in the first practice session for the Night Race at Bristol with a speed of 123.290 mph.

Truex has shown promise on short tracks, but is still looking for his first win. At Bristol, he has only one top-10 in his last 12 starts and an average finish of 22.25 in that span. This could be his week, but the smart money still says to avoid him.

Chase Elliott posted the fastest single lap in practice for the Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway with a speed of 126.645 mph.

Elliott has been inconsistent at Bristol in the past, but he has not had as much momentum on his side as this week. He scored a top-five in his first start, however, and could get a second this week. Wait for final practice before making a commitment.

For failing pre-race inspection twice at Michigan International Speedway, Daniel Suarez will be docked 15 minutes of practice time in the first session on Friday at Bristol.

As a sophomore, Suarez can use all the track time he can get. The morning session is more than an hour, however, and no one turned a lap for the first 30 minutes.
