Coming off a third-place finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship standings last season, 19-year-old Austin Cindric will race for the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) title in 2018, competing in all 33 series events this season with two different winning organizations.

He will open the 2018 season racing the No. 60 PIRTEK Ford Mustang for Roush Fenway Racing at Daytona Int'l Speedway on February 17. As previously announced, Cindric will compete in a total of nine events for Roush Fenway, including four of the first five races on the NXS schedule. In addition, Cindric will drive either the No. 12 or the No. 22 Ford Mustang for Team Penske in the remaining 24 races, including the four Dash for Cash events at Bristol, Richmond, Talladega and Dover. During the events that Cindric will race the No. 12 Ford Mustang for Team Penske – the first of which is scheduled to be on February 24 at Atlanta Motor Speedway – he will work with the team’s new crew chief Matt Swiderski.-Team Penske

Christian Eckes (No. 15 JBL Audio Toyota) took over the lead when most of the other lead lap cars pitted late in the race.

He held off two furious charges, first from teammate Logan Seavey and then from eventual runner up Sheldon Creed, to score his second ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards win of 2018 in Sunday's Allen Crowe 100 at the Illinois State Fair. Eckes nipped Seavey at the line by 0.305 seconds on a two-lap overtime dash to the checkered flag.

With five top fives in the first eight races, including wins at Edmonton and CTMP, it’s clear L.P. Dumoulin is embarking on a stand out year in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

He continued his dream season Sunday by winning the Bumper to Bumper 300 at Riverside International Speedway. Dumoulin’s No.47 Weathertech Canada/ Bellemare Dodge used a very risky pit strategy by saving his fresh tires until very end and mounting his attack. Surviving a hectic final restart Dumoulin snagged the lead on Lap 240 from Kevin Lacroix and never looked back.

Christopher Bell (No. 20 Toyota) finished second in Friday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series Food City 300 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started second on the grid, led 18 laps and completed all of the 310 laps run. Bell retains his position as the points leader in the 2018 NXS championship standings, leading Justin Allgaier (finished third in the Food City 300) by 13 points after the event.
