Kentucky four-star 2019 verbal ATH commit Wandale Robinson flipped to Nebraska.

Robinson (5'10/180) had been committed to Kentucky for just over a month before he flipped to Nebraska on Wednesday. Just what position he will play in Lincoln is still up in the air -- both running back and receiver are possibilities -- but regardless of how his career ultimately ends up unfolding, this makes for a clutch flip by Huskers HC Scott Frost. He was as prolific as they come at the high school level. During his senior season, Robinson scored a total of 45 (!) touchdowns while also finding enough energy to rock 119 tackles on the defensive side. High school statistics generally have little predictive value for college careers, but impressive numbers are impressive numbers. The Frankfort, Kentucky, native ranks as Rivals' No. 98 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

Middle Tennessee senior QB Brent Stockstill completed 25-of-37 passes for 330 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in Saturday's 45-13 bowl loss to Appalachian State.

Stockstill was constantly under pressure, so it took a valiant effort and a positive mindset to rack up the 330 yards tonight. It wasn't the ending the Stockstill family wanted -- his father is the Blue Raiders coach -- but it was quite the career for the senior quarterback. Stockstill threw 106 touchdowns across 3.5 seasons at Middle Tennessee State with three 3,200-yard campaigns. With that much production, Stockstill has a shot at getting NFL looks but his planned future is to get into the coaching business. For the Blue Raiders (8-6), the 2019 season will likely be a re-building year as they look for a quarterback.
Dec 16 - 12:43 AM

Appalachian State redshirt sophomore RB Darrynton Evans rushed for 108 yards on 14 carries in Saturday's 45-13 bowl win over Middle Tennessee State.

Evans (5'11/185) will finish his sophomore season with a four-game 100-yard streak. In tonight's bowl game, the redshirt sophomore was elusive, as usual, averaging 7.7 yards per attempt. However, the Mountaineers used trickery to score their touchdowns tonight leaving Evans empty handed in that category, but Evans did score eight total touchdowns during his breakout season. With quarterback Zac Thomas returning as well, the Appalachian State (11-2) offense will head into 2019 with higher expectations than usual. Evans will look to make it back-to-back seasons with at least 1,000 rushing yards.
Dec 16 - 12:19 AM

Appalachian State redshirt sophomore QB Zac Thomas completed 15-of-24 passes for 177 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in Saturday's 45-13 bowl win over Middle Tennessee State.

Appalachian State was in full control of this game after scoring a 30-yard touchdown on a trick play in the second quarter. After that score, Thomas piled on by throwing for three touchdowns and by catching an eight-yard touchdown on another trick play. Thomas certainly was the MVP of the game, and it's a great game to go out on for the Mountaineers, who should end up being a top-25 team after bowl season ends. Since Thomas is only a redshirt sophomore, the Mountaineers (11-2) will head into 2019 with a quality quarterback -- Thomas finished with 32 total touchdowns and six interceptions -- and with high expectations.

Texas A&M received a verbal commitment from four-star 2019 JUCO CB Elijah Blades.

Blades (6'2/170) committed to Oregon back in July, but he had a change of heart and will join the Aggies. The lengthy corner comes from Arizona Western College, but analysts believe Blades has a shot at playing in the NFL as soon as 2020. Of course, this is a huge win for Texas A&M and a big loss for Oregon, but at least Oregon received a commitment from the No. 1 recruit in the country earlier today.
Dec 15 - 10:14 PM

Eastern Michigan redshirt junior QB Mike Glass completed 17-of-25 passes for 204 yards and three scores in a 23-21 loss to Georgia Southern on Saturday in the Camellia Bowl.

Glass got off to a rough start, but he really played well down the stretch, and it looked like he made the play off the game when he found Arthur Jackson for a 10-yard touchdown with just 3:33 left to give the Eagles their first lead of the game at 21-20. Unfortunately, the defense couldn't hold the potent Georgia Southern rushing attack. Glass was hit-and-miss in 2018, but he did show promise with the Eagles, and he should be the favorite to win the starting job in 2019.
Dec 15 - 8:59 PM

Georgia Southern redshirt sophomore K Tyler Bass went 3-for-3 on field goals in a 23-21 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday in the Camellia Bowl.

Bass made a 50-yarder to make it 17-7 at the half, and his second kick extended the lead to 20-14. The last one was the biggest, however, as he nailed a 40-yard kick with no time left on the clock to give the Eagles the victory and their 10th win of the year. Bass made 18-of-20 kicks on the year, and he showed a big leg on Saturday. He'll be a weapon for the Eagles again in 2019.
Dec 15 - 8:46 PM

Fresno State sophomore RB Ronnie Rivers ran for 212 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in a 31-20 victory over Arizona State on Saturday in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Rivers also caught four passes for 33 yards in the victory. It's the first time that Fresno State has ever won 12 games in a season, and they owe Rivers (5'8/175) a great deal of gratitude. His first touchdown was a 68-yard gash up the middle that gave the Bulldogs a 24-20 lead in the third, and his one-yard plunge put Fresno State ahead 31-20 late in the fourth quarter. Rivers missed the first three games of the season because of a leg injury, but he established himself as the top back in the offense by the end of the year. He'll be among the top running backs in the Mountain West -- and all of the Group of Five schools -- in 2019.
Dec 15 - 7:03 PM

Arizona State redshirt senior QB Manny Wilkins exited the Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday against Fresno State with what appears to be a knee injury.

You never like to see injuries. Seeing a quarterback pick up an injury in his final bowl game is even harder to see. Wilkins went down hard on a 3rd-and-10 play that was intercepted, and while he was able to walk off the field on his own, it was a very slow walk to the sideline. He leaves with just 3:25 left, and he completed 19-of-31 passes for 129 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Dillon Sterling-Cole will take over for Wilkins.

Utah State redshirt sophomore QB Jordan Love completed 21-of-43 passes for 359 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in Saturday's 52-13 demolition of North Texas in the New Mexico Bowl.

Love also added a touchdown on the ground. He couldn't be stopped on deep passes in this one as he connected on touchdowns from 72, 67, 37, and 13 yards out. Three of his four passing touchdowns came in the first half as the Aggies took their foot off the gas up 38-7 and North Texas QB Mason Fine hobbled. Love had a great 2018 season and will finish with 32 touchdowns and only six interceptions. Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline mentioned him as a riser in the draft ranks if he decides to declare. We believe he'll stay in school for another year with the potential to be one of the first quarterbacks off the board in the 2020 draft if he turns in another strong season.
Dec 15 - 6:05 PM

North Dakota State senior QB Easton Stick accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game.

With all due respect to the other quarterbacks who have accepted invites to play in the event, this is the one we're most excited about. Stick (6'2/221) is one of -- if not the -- best FCS signal-callers in the nation, and has led the Bison to another appearance in the FCS Championship Game. Carson Wentz he is not, but he has a strong arm, has good control of the offense, and will get a chance to show that can translate to the next level. We're very excited to see what he can do against the competition.
Dec 15 - 5:54 PM

Tulane junior RB Darius Bradwell rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries in Saturday's 41-24 win over Louisiana-Lafayette in the AutoNation Cure Bowl.

Bradwell (6'1/230) was the team's the most productive and consistent offensive option in this one as he set a career high in yards and carries. He and the Green Wave started off hot but slowed down dramatically in the second half. This game was a lot closer than the final score suggests with Tulane only up by three with less than four minutes remaining. Bradwell's first touchdown came from 15 yards out in the first quarter as Tulane started a 24-0 run to give them a commanding lead. His second score was a four-yard plunge into the endzone with 3:49 left in the fourth quarter. He'll likely remain the team's workhorse in 2019.
