Vernon Gholston isn't our top-ranked rookie linebacker for dynasty leagues. Check our rookie defense rankings to find out who is.

 Kyle Boller-QB-RavensMay. 9 - 5:50 pm et
Kyle Boller took the majority of first-team snaps at Baltimore's mandatory minicamp Friday.
We'll see what the rotation is the rest of the weekend, but Boller looks like the favorite to start in Week 1, as expected. Boller reportedly struggled Friday in the rain, while Joe Flacco had a nice debut effort. Troy Smith split secondary snaps with Flacco.

 Quinn Sypniewski-TE-RavensMay. 9 - 5:49 pm et
Ravens TE Quinn Sypniewski's ACL was torn off the bone when he injured it at pre-draft minicamps.
This sounds more serious than a usual ligament tear. Sypniewski's timetable was set at six to nine months. "It looks like now we’re not going to have him back," coach John Harbaugh said. Sypniewski will go on I.R. shortly.

 Ray Lewis-LB-RavensMay. 9 - 5:30 pm et
Ray Lewis confirmed Friday that his contract situation will not affect how he prepares and plays in 2008.
"Everybody knows this is a business and everything will take care of itself," Lewis said. From a business perspective, the Ravens should have next to no incentive to guarantee pre-season millions to a 33-year-old who hasn't played 16 games since 2003. Lewis is on the hook for a $6.5 million salary.

 James Hardy-WR-BillsMay. 9 - 5:16 pm et
Bills website writer Chris Brown believes second-round rookie James Hardy has a "very good" chance to start opposite Lee Evans this season.
Hardy's road to starting is as clear as any rookie wideout, with Will Franklin (Chiefs) possibly second. Roscoe Parrish and incumbent Josh Reed will be used inside when Buffalo gives spread looks. Hardy was a high-scoring wideout at Indiana and there's little reason to think that will change.

 Terrell Suggs-DL-RavensMay. 9 - 3:23 pm et
Franchise player Terrell Suggs and LT Jonathan Ogden were not present for the start of Ravens mandatory minicamps Friday.
Ogden's absence was expected. Suggs reported for pre-draft voluntary work, but is now showing displeasure with his contract. The Ravens may wait for Ogden to decide whether he'll retire before signing Suggs to an extension. Ogden's official retirement would save the team room under the cap.

 Daniel Wilcox-TE-RavensMay. 9 - 3:13 pm et
No. 2 tight end Daniel Wilcox (toe surgery) is not participating at the Ravens' offseason practices.
A report in the Baltimore Sun three weeks ago indicated Wilcox was healthy, but that isn't the case. With Quinn Sypniewski (torn ACL) out for the season, '07 practice squad TE Lee Vickers has a realistic shot to make the Ravens.

 Koren Robinson-WR-PackersMay. 9 - 2:56 pm et
Packers informed WR Koren Robinson of his release.
Robinson was initially permitted to seek a trade, but he found no takers because everyone knew he'd be cut after the Packers drafted Jordy Nelson. Robinson played in nine games last season, hauling in 21 passes for 241 yards (11.5 YPC) and a TD. He's been a potent kick returner in the league. Despite Robinson's off-field history, he should be on Kansas City's wish list.
