Canadiens on Fire

Monday, February 5, 2018

It was a big week for some weaker power plays as Montreal and Vegas were the two best teams in the league. Montreal scored six times while the Golden Knights lit the lamp on five occasions.

It doesn’t happen often but a defenseman led the way in goals. It was a huge week for the Canadiens' Jeff Petry who had three power play goals. He has a very good chance to be named the NHL’s first star of the week.
