Wrap-up: Dover Int'l Speedway

Dover International Speedway in Delaware was the site of all three NASCAR top-level series races this past weekend. On Friday, the Camping World Truck Series held it's 210-lap (10-lap overtime) JEGS 200 at the 1-mile concrete oval. The OneMain Financial 200 was the XFINITY Series 200-lap featured event running at the "Monster Mile" on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series closed the weekend with the 400-lap AAA 400 Drive For Autism. The results and upcoming scheduled events for the NASCAR Home Tracks and others are also shown below.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS)
Time Trials: Kyle Larson (No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet) won the Busch Pole Award Pole Award for the AAA 400 Drive For Autism with a lap of 22.770 seconds, 158.103 mph. This is his fifth pole in 158 MENCS races. It is his first pole and ninth top-10 start in 2018 and his first pole in nine races at Dover. Kevin Harvick (second) posted his 10th top-10 start of 2018 and his 15th in 35 races at Dover. Martin Truex Jr. (third) posted his 15th top-10 start at Dover and his eighth in 11 series races this season. William Byron (17th) was the fastest qualifying Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender.
Did not qualify: No one. 38 cars entered for 40 spots in the lineup.

Results: Kevin Harvick (No. 4 Jimmy John's Ford) won the AAA 400 Drive For Autism, his 41st victory in 621 MENCS races. This is his fourth victory and ninth top-10 finish in 2018. It is his second victory and 16th top-10 finish in 35 races at Dover. Clint Bowyer (second) posted his 14th top-10 finish in 25 races at Dover and his seventh top-10 finish in 2018. Daniel Suarez (third) posted his third top-10 finish in three races at Dover. William Byron (14th) was the highest finishing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. Pole-sitter Kyle Larson, who had to drop to the rear at the start of the race for the No. 42 Chevrolet pre-race inspection failure, finished the 400-lap race in 10th place.

Standings: Kyle Busch leads the point standings by 22 points over Joey Logano.

NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS)
Time Trials: Brandon Jones (No. 19 XYO Networks Toyota) won the Pole Award for the OneMain Financial 200 with a lap of 23.102 seconds, 155.831 mph. This is his second pole in 81 NXS races. It is his first pole and sixth top-10 series start in 2018 and his first pole in five races at Dover. Noah Gragson (second), who is making his first NXS start at Dover, posted his first 2018 top-10 series start. Matt Tifft (third) posted his third top-10 start at Dover and his fourth in ten races this season. Austin Cindric (seventh) was the fastest qualifying Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender.
Did Not Qualify: No. 74 Mike Harmon.

Results: Justin Allgaier (No. 7 SiteOne Landscape Supply Chevrolet) won the OneMain Financial 200, his sixth victory in 250 NXS races. This is his first victory and seventh top-10 finish in 2018 and his first victory and eighth top-10 finish in 15 races at Dover. Elliott Sadler (second) posted his 14th top-10 finish in 21 races at Dover and his 10th top-10 series finish in 2018. Daniel Hemric (third) posted his second top-10 finish in three races at Dover. Christopher Bell (fourth) was the highest finishing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. Pole-sitter Brandon Jones led 33 laps and finished the 200-lap race in 10th place.

Standings: Elliott Sadler leads the NXS point standings by 33 points over Justin Allgaier.

Time Trials: Noah Gragson (No. 18 Safelite Toyota Tundra) won the Pole Award for the JEGS 200 with a lap of 22.834 seconds, 157.660 mph. This is his fourth pole in 30 NCWTS races. It is his first pole and fourth top-10 start in 2018 and his first pole in two races at Dover. Johnny Sauter (second) posted his fifth top-10 start of 2018 and his seventh in ten races at Dover. Todd Gilliland (third), the fastest qualifying Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, posted his first top-10 start at Dover. It is his first in two series races this season.
Did not qualify: No one. Only 32 trucks entered for 32 slots in the lineup.

Results: Johnny Sauter (No. 21 Allegiant Airlines Chevrolet Silverado) won the JEGS 200, his 19th victory in 226 NCWTS races. This is his second victory and fourth top-10 finish in 2018. It is his second victory and seventh top-10 finish in ten races at Dover. Matt Crafton (second) posted his 11th top-10 finish in 18 races at Dover and his second top-10 series finish in 2018. Justin Haley (third) posted his second top-10 finish in two races at Dover. Todd Gilliland (10th) was the highest finishing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. Pole-sitter Noah Gragson led 60 laps and finished the 210-lap race in 20th place.

Standings: Johnny Sauter leads the point standings by 51 points over Ben Rhodes.
