In the midst of a terrific season, Briny Baird will be attempting to become the PGA Tour's sixth first-time winner of 2008. It's time to tee up the AT&T Classic.

 Jonathan Byrd-GMay. 17 - 8:58 pm et
Johnathan Byrd posted a third round of 1-over-par 73 and is two strokes off of the lead at the AT&T Classic.
Byrd had back-to-back scores of 66 in his first two rounds of the AT&T Classic and started the day with a three-stroke lead, however a poor opening nine of 3-over-par dropped him down the leader board. He did settle down at that point and a 2-under-par score on the back nine brought him back to within two strokes of the lead. Byrd will be looking on Sunday for his fourth PGA Tour title and his first since last year's John Deere Classic.
 Omar Uresti-GMay. 17 - 8:46 pm et
Omar Uresti had the low round of the tournament, when he carded a 7-under-par 65 in the third round of the AT&T Classic.
Uresti started the day in a tie for 48th place, but he moved up to a tie for ninth place when he put an eagle, six birdies and a bogey on the card. It's been a tough year, before this week, for Uresti with three made cuts in eight starts and a good finish this week will help him gain some much needed earnings to retain his card for next season.
 Ryan Palmer-GMay. 17 - 7:23 pm et
Ryan Palmer posted a third round of 2-under-par 70 and is two strokes off of the lead at the AT&T Classic.
Palmer was even-par on the front nine, but three birdies on the first four holes of the back nine brought him up the leader board into a tie for the lead. A three-putt bogey at the 16th hole dropped him out of a share of the lead and he finished two strokes behind when he failed to birdie the 18th hole. It's been a tough year for Palmer as he has tried to play on both the PGA and Nationwide Tours this season and a good finish on Sunday could help his career quite a bit.
 David Toms-GMay. 17 - 7:14 pm et
David Toms carded a third round of 3-under-par 69 and is two shots off the lead going in the final round of the AT&T Classic.
Toms was 1-under-par on the front nine and birdies at 10th and 13th holes put him at the time in a four-way-tie for the lead. He bogeyed the par-4 15th hole after his approach was in the greenside bunker, however he gained the stroke back with a birdie at the 17th hole. Toms injured himself in the off season and as a result he has had a very slow start to the season, but on Sunday he will be going for his 13th PGA Tour victory and his first since the 2006 Sony Open.
 Kenny Perry-GMay. 17 - 6:27 pm et
Kenny Perry posted a third round of 3-under-par 69 and is one stroke off of the lead going into Sunday's final round at the AT&T Classic.
Perry grabbed the lead after a birdie-eagle combination starting at the fourth hole, but a bogey at the 9th hole brought him back into a tie. He was even-par on the back nine until a nice birdie on the final hole pulled him within a stroke of the lead. Perry on Sunday will be looking for his tenth PGA Tour victory and his first since the 2005 Bank of America Colonial.
 Charles Howell III-GMay. 17 - 5:59 pm et
Charles Howell III carded a third round of 5-under-par 67 and leads by one stroke going into Sunday's final round of the AT&T Classic.
Howell had a great day with five birdies on the card with no blemishes. He gained a share of the lead after his fourth birdie of the day at the 15th hole and was able to expand the lead to two strokes after a birdie at the 17th hole. However, Howell missed a golden opportunity to pull away from the field when he three-putted at the 18th hole for par. The final round has been moved up because of the forecast of rain and the 76 players will go in threesomes starting at the 1st and 10th holes.
 Scott McCarron-GMay. 16 - 11:47 pm et
Scott McCarron played two rounds of the AT&T Classic in an aggregate 2-over par, missing the cut by two strokes.
McCarron was inside the cut line through 34 holes and then triple-bogeyed the par 3 8th to miss the weekend. It didn't help that he needed 63 putts after hitting a so-so 27 GIR. It leaves him with three starts on his medical extension to earn $345,988.
