Wranglers
May. 31 - 4:47 pm et
Wranglers standout OS Derrick Lewis signed a contract with the NFL’s Houston Texans. Lewis, who just finished his first Arena Football League season, broke Troy Bergeron’s 2005 record for receiving yardage by a rookie, recording 1,411 yards (113 receptions and 23 TDs).
Austin will miss Lewis but it's likely he'll return to the Wranglers next season if he can't stick in Houston.
Jerald Brown

Destroyers
May. 31 - 9:34 am et
Predators WR/LB Jerrian James was suspended for one game and fined $500 for conduct detrimental to the League for a malicious act against a Philadelphia Soul player in this past weekend’s Divisional playoff game. The suspension will take effect for this Sunday’s National Conference Championship game between Orlando and the Dallas Desperados.
James is lucky he didn't get tossed for the rest of the season. He was flagged for the play but could have easily been ejected. Definately the right move by the League.
